April Propylene closed down $0.10 per pound to settle at $0.63. Most industry experts believe that we will see another $0.03-$0.05 per pound decrease in May.
Propylene monomer settled down $0.06 in March to $0.73 per pound.
Propylene monomer settled up $0.06 @ $0.79 per pound.
Nominations for February monomer are now at plus $0.09.
January Monomer settled up $0.15 per pound to $0.73. Market experts believe we will see another increase in February of $0.03-$0.05 per pound. Polypropylene remains somewhat tight with plants shutting down for annual maintenance.
